Andrés Gomes started his music career back in the 80s in Murcia, his hometown, from where his experiments with electronic sounds spread along the east coast, to places like Central Rock

The two DJS of Buffet Libre from Barcelona combine their works at the most renowned turntables across Europe, in clubs and festival.
At the SOS 4.8 they will be presenting their project PEACE, a coproduction with Amnesty International, that was digitally released and where they met new and exclusive songs from artists from 50 countries, such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Marc Almond, Patrick Wolf, Micah P Hinson, Mogwai, Steve Wynn, etc.

Calros C Mix started his long and productive career as a DJ in 1997 and was influenced by the music scene and style of the late 80s. His sound of the early 90s mixes all styles of dance music which made him a pioneer of house music, techno and trance. Listen and dance at the SOS 4.8!

They will be united again this year at the SOS 4.8: Carl Craig, Mike Banks and DJ Monty Luke, all three famous through the Techno Detroit D25.

In July 2007 the legendary radio program The Boulevard (Radio 3) was broadcasted  the last time.
Chema Rey was one of the drivers of Boulevard which was for 25 years catalyst and showcase for  the best national and international musicians. Every day listeners could discover the famous representatives of the indie scene as well as new independent labels. Experience it at the SOS 4.8!

This show is going to be a mixture of video art and concert. Chris Cunningham, who created video clips for Madonna and Björk, is one of the most important video artists of the audiovisual scene. His video clips put marks into the formats that are popular at the moment thanks to platforms like YouTube. Chris Cunningham is not just popular for his work with other artist but also for is video installations for advertising like “Flex” that still causes both experts and amateurs cheering. Her career started as a journey through the murcian scene several years ago: through different scenes, different styles and techniques. She returns to the SOS 4.8 again with her renovated, indietronical session that are enriched with nu rave sounds of yesterday and today.

The colors of his uniform can vary but they will always have a red-and-white motif on them, because these are the colors of Julio Riuz favourite team. Even though his career is still very young he is responsible for the program “Disco Grande” at Radio3. His sound brings you back to the early 90s and is strongly influenced by British Pop . Before becoming DJ Suzukid, this DJ dedicated life to listening to Indie music and Indie, being lazy and enjoying life. His natural way of living influenced his music that was played in legendary sessions at Razzmatazz, Confetti or Sugarpop. Suzukid never forget where he came from and is happy to return to his hometown for the SOS 4.8!

With the experience of 20 years in the music business, the senior of pop, DJ Toño, is the commander of the Camelot Club, the principal of the sound in ClubDos  (Elda), the Factory Club (Alcoy). He is responsible for the best mixture of pop-rock from yesterday, today and tomorrow with his distinctive style. His sound is determined by the precise sound of guitars, the 80s pop-music , nu-breaks, funkoids and bottlegs. Experience it at the SOS 4.8!

After more than thirteen years of travelling though the whole world and playing at the best clubs, DJ2D2 decided to combine his style with a video show. This step was just logic for a former student of picture and sound design. He is named the prophet of the underground in Spain for his combination of his sound and the different sound of the hip hop culture. Experience the prophet at the SOS 4.8!

DJ eMe, whose real name is Marta Fierro, is one of the most experienced DJs in the indiectronica scene and claims dance floors all over Spain as her home. eMe has a great influence on the development and the arrangement of indie music and is one of the most refreshing and consolidating DJane for the indiectronical music. Her most important qualities are versatility and good taste. Listen and dance to her music at the SOS 4.8!

When you talk about Florent you have to mention Los Planetas. After the 80s, where people in Granada were sure, they had achieved everything: an innovative style that surpassed the big and tremendous void of the previous years. This development had a different influence on the careers of Florent and of Los Planetas. Florent specialized on his talent as a DJ and is famous for his sound called Techno-Clash. Joan S. Luna, editor of the independent music publisher Mondosonoro, dominated for over fifteen years the scene of music criticism. He wrote for various magazines and newspapers as well as international music magazines. Besides that he experiments as a DJ together with e.g. Roger Moon Fizz Gascón. These two DJs are very different and peculiar: They Claim to have mustaches, make love with their socks and want to be wrapped in their cigarettes. Besides making strange quotes their music mix is full of beats, samples and bootlegs what makes them specialists in their genre. They are conquering the dance floors everywhere and care about everyone who visits the room 12ymedio every night. See them at the SOS 4.8!

These Murcian musicians changed theor style of music from indie rock to electronic that still passes on the power and energy of their former style. Their music if highly influenced by Indietrnica, diso, techno, synth pop, ect. which converts their music into an eclectix musical puzzle, which is highly consistent and very danceable. With their residence at the two murcian clubs Moss Leisure Club Bar and Outdoor Leisure they became one of the most famous and original DJ duo in the country. Listen to them at the SOS 4.8!

The readers of Rockdelux chose Pinypon DJ’s as one of the best DJs in the national scene!
With their cry “Do the Pinching!” they conquered half of Spain and spread their rhythm, tunes and technique all over the country. Since they play at Fantasy Club Barcelona, their reputation as DJs has increased. Shout it out loud at the SOS 4.8!

Anti-Karaoke® is a fusion of rock concert, underground karaoke and Broadway show. It was created by the American comedian Rachel Arieff. Anti-Karaoke is a spontaneous show that depends on the participation of the audience. In contrast to normal karaoke, Anti-Karaoke offers a sound quality, that is equal to the sound quality at live concerts, a great repertoire of top hits of rock and pop and a possibility to transform on stage. In the 80s and the early 90 Robert Solheim played and sang in different groups. Since 1997 he released several records under the pseudonym Current and the sound label Origo Sound, in Norway. There he recorded songs with musicians like Biosphere and Circules. He founded his own label, CurrentMusic, in 2005 and has his residence at Bar Moss and Leisure Club in Murcia. Listen to his sets at SOS 4.8!

This poetic movement appeared in the 90s in the United States and was very much influenced by the traditional African American music and oral tradition. Spoken Words mixes pop culture, new technologies, performances, multimedia and music, especially blues, jazz and HipHop music. It also contains a critical part. It is not possible to closely define Spoken Words as it resists this type of definition. You can find about it yourself at the SOS 4.8!

Our partner festival, the SOS 4.8 will go burlesque this year with a live performance by Taboo. Including a live show, the Taboo circus magically takes the audiences into a world full of wonderfull impressions.

Both band members, Sebas Vinader and Sergio Puente, enjoy their part as DJs and entertainers and produce full sessions of pop-rock and abroad for example at thei tables of the legendary bar “The Phantom of the blue eyes”.  Unfortunately the bar will be closed but it can be taken for granted that they’ll find other sites in Spain to rock the stages with their sessions. Juan Carlos Mataix, better known as DJ Toxicsomos, is a resident at Barraca Valencia Room, Le Club, Cormoran, Latex, The Mill, Flow, Wah Wah, the Screw, Swan, Murray, Matisse Velvet and others. And these are just Murcian locations – he is also well-known in London, Barcelona, Tarragona and Madrid. Listen and dance to his sets at the SOS 4.8!

The twin brothers decided in 2007 to start a career as DJs with IndiePop influenced by electronic music. Even though they didn’t know a thing about DJing they started with great courage at the Confetti Club in Alicante, where they gained smiles, applause. Encouraged by this experience they extended their sets and started to play in all different Spanish clubs. Listen to them at the SOS 4.8!

The program director of Radio3 180 degrees is one of the most recognizable voices in the Spanish radio. Virginia Díaz as a DJ is known for his various sets of rock, pop, soul and disco. Bands he likes to play:  Phoenix, Mando Diao, The Temper Trap, The Noisettes, Reverend & The Makers, The Gossip, Franz Ferdinand, REM, The Smiths, The Cure and The Ramones.
