EuroGlobe Photo Award (Spain)
The EuroGlobe Photo Award (Spain) asks Spanish photographers to submit creative and innovative photos dealing with the problem of global warming and climate change as well as its consequences for Europe and in particular Spain.
The overall topic of the contest is: “Act now!”. All kinds of images are permitted, whether documentary, fictional photography, or other.
Who can participate
Professional and non-professional photographers of all ages. Deadline for submission: 31st of March 2010.
Jury
A selected jury of eight well-known Spanish and international photographers and experts in this field will choose the best contributions. The names of the jury members will be published soon.
Selection Procedure
The jury selects the best 30 photos to be shown at an exhibition in Murcia and in Cadiz in 2010. The exhibitions will be running within the framework of the EuroGlobe festivals in both places.
Voting
Audience Voting - The visitors of the exhibitions in Murcia and Cadiz will select the best photo by secret audience voting.
Online Voting - The visitors of the EuroGlobe website may participate by voting online.
The winner of the EuroGlobe Photo Award will be the photographer with most audience and online votes combined.
Winning Prize
The winner is awarded a high-quality digital camera.
The best photo will be exhibited in Namur and Antwerp, Belgium.

Murcia: 30.04. – 01.05.2010
Cadiz: 01.06. – 12. 06.2010
How to apply
- Fill in the online form below
- no participation fees
- Submit 1 photo as jpg, min. 300 dpi, max. 4MB) with title and a short project description
- The right to exercise legal resource is excluded.
Participants under the age of 18 are requested to hand in a permition signed by their legal guardian. Please scan the permition and either send it to euroglobe(at)berlinpolis.de or fax it to: 0049 (0)30 278 74 173.
